Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for an automotive performance/repair machining shop, Douglas Automotive Machine, located in Southern Oklahoma. The owner wants a nouveau-vintage logo similar to old metal oil signs. He also likes the "Rat Rod" aesthetic. This logo should be crisp, without weathered or distressed effects. However, it should lend itself to being hand stenciled on a rusted, classic pickup.
The logo should be formatted to fit the back of a mechanic's uniform shirt. It will also be used on business cards.

25-60 year old, white male car enthusiasts. This is more hot-rod than Nascar.
