Poster Design Brief

A poster design for a German stage play called 'How my parents met' is needed.
In the stage play young people tell (real) stories of their (grand)parents first encounter and the subsequent steps and times that lead up to starting a family. Some of those stories are also told via songs (supported by live piano music), small movie clips or self-programmed small video games.

Most of the young actors (most of them students) are 'technophiles' and love pixel-art and videogame pop culture.
Most of the stories told in the play took place in the 1980s (most of the actors' parents met and fell in love with each other in the 1980s).

The poster should build interest in the target audience of students, young adults and videogame fans.

Some keywords just for inspiration:
love at first sight
videogame-hearts
blockyness
family tree
piano music
projection / projector
storyteller

Format: A2 (420 × 594 millimetres, printable PDF has to be 424x596 Millimetres)
Note: A strip of about 100 millimetres (in the best case in the lower third of the poster) will be pasted over with a 'sticker' by the venues with the performance dates - so this area shouldn't contain important elements

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We need some more days to vote on the designs with the whole group of young people participating in the play. We will give feedback to each design and narrow our vote to the three most fitting designs. Thank you for your patience and creative input so far! Best regards
