Logo Design Brief
We want a logo design for a new mobile-first storytelling app called Evrybit. Evrybit provides a new way to tell stories with every media tool in a single platform. We let people create any type of media bits (audio, video, photo, text, graphics) and string bits into stories. Our tools make it easier for people to document events and share stories, from a major breaking news story to a child’s birthday party. Our target audience is anyone with a smartphone that has a story to tell. The logo will be used for all of Evrybit promotional purposes (app icon, website, business cards, letterhead, merchandise, etc.). The mission of Evrybit is to make the world a more informed place. We want a simple, clean logo that illustrates this mission and signifies global inclusiveness, creativity, collaboration, efficiency and storytelling in an abstract, non-literal way. We want our logo to feel familiar and obvious but also original and new. The main goal of our logo is to communicate infinite stories, collaboration and flow, the sum of parts, that many become one, interconnectedness. Our app color scheme is Navy and Orange, and we want our logo to have the same color scheme. We want a logo that resonates with people and that is instantly recognizable, distinctive, memorable and enduring.
A few other general ideas about the possible design.
People are telling stories, sharing stories, connecting through stories, coming together through stories.
The stories will be on any subject matter: news, sports, stories of our lives.
Given all that, we want a logo/icon that is abstract, not literal or too obvious, yet recognizable.
Major media organizations will be using Evrybit, so we want a professional look and feel. But also something that has mass appeal, especially among the millennial audience.
Look forward to viewing designs.

Requirements
Must have
- Navy and orange color scheme to match Evrybit app design. Logos need to be distinctively different than logos for ScribbleLive (http://www.scribblelive.com/), Storify (https://storify.com/), Storehouse (https://www.storehouse.co/), Steller (https://steller.co/) -- companies that are our competitors to Evrybit. Want a logo that would look recognizable in a small version (e.g., if it was used on TV or on website in tab bars).
Should not have
- Script or decorative fonts. No letter as logo/icon (e.g., letter "E").
