Logo Design for An 18ct Golden Fly

I need a logo design for a project to raise money for charity. We are creating some fishing flies made from gold hooks. The design needs to include a golden barbless hook.

It will be used on a dark background.
It needs to be eye catching as it will be used in both print and digital media.
Design needs to look professional and also fun.
No clip art.
Style wise im happy to include cartoon styling but would still like the logo to reflect a serious manner.

The logo will be used both with and without logo text so the design needs to still work without any text.
