This is what A Speakeasy Soiree: Raising Spirits for a Cure was looking for in their logo design

This logo is for an annual event that raises money to fund a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Each year there's a gala held at the Ritz with a different theme. This year's is the Roaring 20's and we want to lean into the prohibition era. We hold the event in Florida which played a pivotal role in the the rum running business, so any tie to that would be neat.

The evening is "A Speaking Easy Soiree: Raising Spirits for a Cure."
If you choose to use the JDRF organization on the logo, it's a national logo that must be printed a certain way. The requirements are in documents attached.

We like gold, emerald, hint of black as the colors. I'm not sold on any one image but think whiskey bottles, champagne or cocktail glass and/or barrel all work well. I really like the martini glass that includes the art deco look inside the glass. Or a barrel spilling out into a glass, then creating the font for the slogan might work.
