Obsidian - New Quantity Surveying Company

This is what Obsidian was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo design for a new company called Obsidian Surveying. We do quantity surveying and commercial services for the construction industry. We would like a design that brings in obsidian the rock. Could be dark black or indigo. Should incorporate fragments. I have included a previous brochure we did for CMK but gives an dea of our business. We will need this updated but lets get the logo first.
