Painting business called Glossy Coatings

This is what Glossy Coatings was looking for in their logo design

We need a logo design for a painting and decorating business we are starting. We are house and commercial painters. We would like simple but striking. Colours we are leaning towards are teal - blue and grey or something similar. No pictures of paintbrushes please (looks cheap looking to us) we have been working together since we were teenagers.
