Warship Application Requires Logo and 3 Icons Design

This is what Amelu IT was looking for in their logo design

We need an application logo and three icons designed for a Microsoft Word 2010 add-in used in Royal Navy warships to record important events and thereby produce a diary (ship's log).

We need:

An application logo. This should use only Royal Navy colours (see brand guidelines) and be reminiscent of/inspired by a diary or formal written record, diary or 'ship's log'. This art will only be used as a graphic (not as an icon) and should therefore be large and high-resolution (1024x1024). The logo should evoke a modern, clean design - no quills and parchment! Stylising the Royal Navy logo is to be avoided.

Each of the following three icons should share a consistent style. Please try to only use colours from the branding guide.
