Drinking Water Protection Postcard Series

Design a series of 3 themed postcards that will be mailed in succession for a pilot project. Audience: to reach water operators who are responsible for managing very small public water systems (serving less than 1000 people in Pennsylvania). Purpose: Encourage small water systems to enter into a voluntary program known as "Source Water Protection for Small Systems" that is available at no out of pocket cost from PA Dept of Environmental Protection (PA DEP). Source Water Protection helps protect public health by preventing contaminants from entering the rivers, streams and groundwater on which the public depends for source of drinking water. Source water protection safeguards public health, makes efficient use of limited financial resources (prevention is cheaper than water treatment or loss of a well), and has a positive impact on the environment as a whole.
