Designer Tattoo

This is what a business in Australia was looking for in their tattoo design

Three latin words: "Firmitas Utilitas Venustas" Skillfully woven together in a beautiful, integrated, elegant typographic design.

This design needs to be bold and crisp as it will be a Tattoo. (To go on my left shoulder - yep, you got it, the winning design will be on my skin forever!)

I am looking for a very fresh, modern, illustrative rendering of these three words - not something with a typical or traditional Tattoo style to it.

Your beautiful typography will illustrate the ancient Vitruvian principles of excellence in architectural design. The three words mean: 'Strength, usability and beauty'.

This ancient concept is as true today as it was when Vitruvius wrote it down. It is a guiding principle which can be applied to product/industrial design and web design. Read more
