My First Tattoo - Tool

This is what a business in United States was looking for in their tattoo design

I’m thinking like Tool artwork with some lyrics woven into it.

These lyrics from the song “Descending” are my favorites. Any number of them incorporated into the design would be interesting. Almost as though not just the words themselves are woven into the design, but the meaning of the words is influencing the overall design.

I have attached a few of my favorite style artwork. I don’t think one needs to be literally re-created in the design. Rather, let this style influence the style of the tattoo.

- Stir us from our wanton slumber
- Rouse all from our apathy
- Elementary, muster every fiber
- One drive to stay alive

As far as size, I’m thinking it would be on my shoulder or maybe my calf. Color or BW is really up to you, based on your artistic vision. I’m not an artistic person, so I am open to seeing your thoughts! Read more
