Logo Design Brief
Veritas is a small 'start-up' consultancy specialising in consumer and market trends assessments, market and consumer insights, strategic planning and research projects. With experience predominantly in media (traditional through to new/social) we provide insight and data to clients to aid in strategic planning, product design and media selection.
The key business objective is to build a reputation as an insights leader and to project the ability of being able to curate and translate insights relevant to clients and their market.
The intention is to extend the offering to an online reader panel for clients to access to survey, develop an online opinion forum etc.
Clients anticipated to be mostly within lifestyle categories which are largely female centric (fashion, food, home, health, etc) but would extend to other such as retail, telecoms, auto, etc.
The design should reflect a modern and stylish approach...sophisticated and intelligent without being futuristic. It needs to appeal to both executive managers and creative, media folk.
Of course, 'Veritas' is Latin for 'The Truth', so inherently the company image is to portray a sense of certainty, clarity, exactitude, transparency; ostensibly anything which projects an image that the information provided will be helpful, intelligent, understandable, factual and from which clients will be able to form or verify a conclusion.
Personal style is upmarket, mature and clean; relatively conservative but with sophisticated creative elements (not gimmicky or childish).
I love orange (not too yellow) and Blue (toward green/grey).
