I have a question, does it need to be exactly the same? I can make a re-design, but has you know, i can't make exactly the same thing, because of the copyrights...

A can assure you that I'll make a "vintage style" poster for each image, but it won't be exactly the same, just similar.

I do work a lot of work for a friend that makes metal signs from old vintage posters. The problem I see is that, I doubt any "professional" designer or illustrator (even overseas) would take on a project of illustrating something so complex for the budget you have.

Are you sure that what you need is an illustration re-done? There are much better alternatives (and within your budget). Also, you don't state what sort of printing you will be doing this in (offset, screen, pad, dye-sub...). That is important so that the files are done correctly.

No it does not need to be the same .Just similar .
The image is for Dye Sublimation printing onto bath mats.
Must still have the vintage on tin signboard type look.
Very flexible.

The design does not need to be complex. I am using the image for dye sub printing onto polyester bath mats.
As long as the look is similar I am flexible. The pics I put in the brief are screen grabs and low res. I need a better res image which goes onto a fabric surface . Design must just be very similar.
