Logo Design Brief
QMS Software has a primary product line that is under the registered trade mark "Ulysses" The company wishes to be known simply as Ulysses Software and is preparing for a re-branding of the company to fit along side the release of version 10 of the Ulysses software product.

Ulysses Software is an international cloud computing product software company in the customer service solutions segment of the market. Our secondary slogan / what we do is "Customer service solutions"
Ulysses software Logo requirements:
*Can to be represented by an icon (for the software product)
*Can be reversible colour for dark background (for different application "Themes")
*Should clash with as few colours as possible (for different application "Themes")
*Ulysses is the name to promote - the word "software" is secondary
* Modern and friendly 'feel' to it
* Logo should be constructed from the name rather than an image
* Minimum / small number of colours
* Red has been used previously (The tick ball on website) and continuity would be nice
* Letters based logo is favoured
Updates
The quality of the submissions is superb. Our marketing people will be doing a complete review of ALL the submissions on Tuesday 8 May. In the meantime, we have decided not to eliminate any submissions. In general, the elaborate fonts are not being favoured - although some of them are very clever like the pie chart font. The leading designs are those that stand out and do not require any concentration to decipher. Some of the designs with a logo-ised "U" read as "lysses" instead of "Ulysses" at a first glance. Keep up the good work.
