Your work seems nice and you are also based in Ireland.  There will be quite a bit of additional design work including website and Ulysses 10 web app interface to do in the near future.  Even if you are unsuccessful in this project we should stay in touch about other work.

Dear Mr. Duncan,

As mentioned, the tick mark on a red dot needs to be implemented which symbolizes as icon for the continuation of the brand identity; which is very much relevant but, do we need to create one more icon as Its mentioned in the requirement list OR follow the red one as an icon (which is suggestible) and work on the fonts, because 2 icons can hamper the identity?

The Tick mark on the red ball does NOT need to be implemented. It is where we are now, rather than where we are going to be. It is worth taking the old icon into consideration when moving forward with a new brand identity. One icon is all that is required and it will not be used as the company logo, but as the icon for the software itself. Hope this clarifies things.
