Thank you for your early submissions. A couple of notes for your reference:
- Although we provided a Backcountry Recreation logo as an example, there are no mountains on Lake Charlotte. Instead, we have relatively low-lying, pine-covered hills. For reference, I have added additional pictures that illustrate the skyline of the island, where the camp is situated, as well as the view we see across the lake. Please consider the natural skyline of the lake in your designs.
- Thank you for including the local animals. So as to not 'overdo it', we request that you limit the number of animals to; a pair of loons, a single hummingbird, and a single beaver. Not mentioned in the original brief is that we also have a barred owl on the island. Key point - sometimes, less is more.

We were truly impressed by your creativity and the unique approach you took in responding to our brief. Your talent and skills in graphic design are quite evident, and we wanted to express our appreciation for your respective contributions.

Some of you have worked with us before and submitted winning designs. Many of you, we are meeting for the first time.
In either case, the level of talent out there is incredible.

We have selected our top three designs for this Logo Design competition, I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your incredible contributions to our project. The level of creativity and skill displayed was truly impressive, making the selection process extremely challenging.

While only a few designs could be chosen for the top three spots, please know that not being selected is in no way a reflection of the quality of your work. The competition was fierce, and each submission brought its own unique strengths to the table. Your dedication and passion for your craft was immediately evident.

We want to assure you that every design was given careful consideration, and the decision-making process was incredibly tough. (We had several arguments over the direction we wanted to take things).
