Book Cover Design Brief
Angelic Visitations is a book that talks about the awesomeness and majesty of angelic encounters and reveals that people can experience this today. I would like a cover that portrays an angel looking handsome and powerful, serious but not mean, angelic... I really liked the cover for the sun queen. The colors and presentation looked very much like what I would like to have for my angel book. (Rich colors)
This is for a print book,(6 x 9) and usually I have used my print cover for my e-book as well. The cover will be uploaded to create space , the publishing company of amazon.com.

The colors schemes I really like are rich bold colors. I like the rich browns and golds of Peter Meredith's book "The sun Queen" I also like deep reds. I also like bold text. something even if elegant is powerful. Also, the kind of angels I like are serious and noble yet kind. Michael Komarck has an excellent example in his work "Archange Michel" (archangel Michael)
There are a lot of covers out there about heaven and angels and there seems to be a lot of clouds and angel statues. I would like something bold that would compel someone to want these encounters for themselves.

I did not present plainly that this is an open project. I wrote what I thought was a note to a designer about a piece of work he did, and that I liked the colors and imagery etc.. But this is an open project and I do want the piece that would be best for my book. I am really looking for something that would inspire people to want to experience angelic visitations and see the angels around them. Thanks, Michael

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I'm sorry, I just realized I can post photos that show the look I am asking for. Many of you were asking for feedback because you were working "blind". Nice to have
- Would be nice to see an angel on the cover but not a requirement. The angel should actually look like one that someone would like to see. Powerful but not scary. like Michael komarck's Michael the archangel.
OK I don't want to stop anyone's creativity ... If you can covey that angelic encounters are awesome and amazing without using an angel, that is fine! I know there are many ways to accomplish that, not just one.
The original cover I did for the English version is still being used on amazon.com, and it is really basic. I just want to get a cover that inspires.
Should not have
- nothing negative or demonic in symbols.
Female angels. I'm not against female angels but most of the angels I am aware of are male.
ANGELS SHOULD HAVE CLOTHES ON.
